OK winter, you win, with your short, cold days.

And you, New Year, you have exhausted me already.

You win, Christmas melancholy; you win, misery of disconnection.

You win, the lot of you.

I give up.

There will be no new deep and searching blog posts this holiday, no new songs vocalised, no epiphanies here.

Only comfort-seeking and the passage of time.
